Active civil society for inclusive digital education in Rwanda
This Learning Brief was compiled by the Global Campaign for Education (GCE) to spotlight the project work, results and lessons from Rwanda Education for All Coalition (REFAC) project entitled “Active civil society for inclusive digital education in Rwanda”. The project was designed and implemented within the framework of the Resilience to COVID-19 through Digitalisation (RESICODI) German BACKUP Initiative to follow up on the implementation of the Education 2030 Agenda and SDG4 targets. The content presented in this learning brief was generated from the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities set up by the GCE Secretariat for national coalition partners to report on the progress and results of their respective country-level projects. The end-of-project report submitted by REFAC to GCE has been the primary source of the lessons and experiences shared in this Brief.12 April 2023 | Members Reports

Learning Brief, National SDG4 Benchmarks: A Formative Tool for Progress Towards 2030
This Learning Brief was compiled by the Global Campaign for Education (GCE) following the webinar held to highlight how the National SDG4 Benchmark Mechanism can be used to set national targets and monitor commitments made at the Transforming Education Summit (TES) as an accountability mechanism. A key outcome of the Transforming Education Summit was to add three more indicators to the SDG4 monitoring framework with associated national benchmarks on greening education, digital transformation, and youth and student engagement in policy making. This Learning Brief provides GCE coalitions with an update on ongoing work defining these indicators. The brief highlights how the national SDG4 Benchmark Mechanism can also be used to set national targets and monitor commitments made at the Transforming Education Summit (TES), sitting at the heart of its accountability mechanism.28 February 2023 | Members Reports
Monitoring equity and inclusion in the Peruvian education system SDG 4.5
This learning brief was compiled by the Global Campaign for Education (GCE) to spotlight the project work, results and lessons from Campaña Peruana por el Derecho a la Educación Peruvian (CPDE) “Campaign for the Right to Education” within the framework of the GCE’s global advocacy programme to follow up on the implementation of Education 2030 Agenda and SDG4 targets. The content presented in this learning brief was generated from the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities that have been set by the GCE Secretariat for national coalition partners to report on the progress and results of their respective country level projects. The project interim report submitted by CPDE on 15 December 2022 to GCE has been the primary source of the lessons and experienced shared in this brief.20 February 2023 | Members Reports
Global Advocacy Projects on the Implementation of E2030 Midterm Project Lesson Brief
In the Arab countries where ACEA operates, CSOs encounter serious institutional and structural obstacles to youth participation and involvement in decision-making and policy making processes. The effects include, but are not limited to: (i) lack of clear governmental policy and regulatory frameworks concerned with increasing youth engagement and influence in public education policies, (ii) limited capacities of youth CSOs in terms of youth mobilization, unification and engagement, and (iii) limited awareness of youth in terms of their role as agents of change, conjugated with their limited knowledge and capacities in SDG-4, civil society principles, human rights, advocacy, tactics and mechanisms.18 May 2022 | Members Reports
