Anjum Lalla Yu

She holds a strong financial background through her accounting degrees, prior financial work experience, and she is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors for South Africa.

At the beginning of 2020, her role transitioned to GCE’s Financial Compliance Coordinator. Within this role, she reviews and evaluates financial compliance, organisational risk, and internal control issues within the organisation and ensures that all legislative, contractual, and GCE policies and procedures are followed and adhered to, while instituting practices that will ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

Anjum enjoys working with colleagues from different countries, understanding differing financial contexts and environments, and adding value and contributing to building financial management capacities within the GCE Movement.
