The GCE Board and Secretariat thank GCE members and partners for supporting the letter-signing campaign and submission of comments to the zero-draft Terms of Reference of the UN Framework Convention on International Tax Cooperation.

The Letter was submitted to the UN Ad-Hoc Committee with a total of 66 signatories. Please click HERE to see the letter.

GCE extends its sincere thanks to members of the Campaigns and Advisory Group who commented on the draft letter and helped coordinate with their constituencies on the letter signing. Our campaign will continue until the second session of the Ad-Hoc Committee to be held from 29 July-16 August 2024.

Let us continue advocating to our respective governments, especially the delegates to the second session, to integrate education financing and decolonising education financing in the Terms of Reference of the UN Framework Convention on International Tax Cooperation.
