On May 28 and 29 in El Salvador, the “Central American Meeting on Gender Equality, Violence and Education: Strategies of transformation” is an initiative of the Latin American Campaign for the Right to Education (CLADE), with the support of UNICEF, and the Salvadoran Network for the Right to Education (RESALDE).

The May 2 9 session was broadcast by the Latin American Association of Popular Education and Communication (ALER) and the Participatory Radio Association of El Salvador (ARPAS). This meeting was entitled “Dialogue with public authorities: key challenges and transformation strategies”, which was attended by representatives of Ministries of Education of Central America and CECC / SICA.

Among the main objectives of the meeting was to draw up a panorama and a diagnosis on Gender Equality, Violence and Education, as well as to elaborate transformation strategies and recommendations for political authorities of the region.
