The GCE Learning Hub Global Launch
Deepening a culture of learning and sharing
GCE’s work as a movement is centred around its strategic goals and objectives. As a membership-based organisation, the success of GCE in attaining its strategic objectives and achieving its collective impact is defined by its priority to grow and strengthen the movement. This also ensures that all members play a critical role in facilitating and getting better as individual organisations and as a collective in collaborating and in driving vertical and horizontal shared learning within and across the various structures and levels of the movement.
To facilitate this, the GCE Secretariat has developed the Learning Hub as a freely available online platform for GCE members and partners to engage, collaborate, and share knowledge and experiences on critical topics and issues that cut across the wok.
The Learning Hub is a repository for the knowledge and learning products generated from our work with GCE members and partners to build and strengthen GCE as a movement. This platform exists online, and GCE stakeholders can use the Learning Hub for the following purposes:
- Online engagements and collaborations
- Shared learning and dissemination of resources
- Knowledge repository
- Collect materials and resources
Essentially, this platform aims to enhance collaborative learning and ongoing engagement across constituencies in all contexts and build capacity that cuts across its strategic areas. Through the Learning Hub, the GCE Secretariat aims to facilitate a two-way and movement-wide knowledge exchange and learning whereby learning affairs and resources from all members and partners become accessible to the movement. This approach recognises that all GCE stakeholders operating at national, regional, or global levels have knowledge, experiences, and expertise to share, and that can be documented, retained, and amplified to strengthen the collective impact of the GCE movement.
On September 30th at 13h30 SAST, GCE will officially host the global event to launch the Learning Hub and online courses. Our Learning Hub launch is an opportunity for members and partners to learn more about GCE’s approach to learning and get to know more about the platform’s features through a live demonstration.
