The Global Campaign for Education (GCE) invites you to join an EiE CoP on Disability Inclusive Education in Emergency Contexts.

This session aims to reflect on some of the critical challenges to secure disability inclusive education in contexts of emergency and share best practices in responding to various crisis, including climate and conflict crisis and the ongoing COVID-19 crisis

Speakers: Sandrine Bohan-Jacquot, Humanity & Inclusion and Marine Sicre, Master in Risk Management.

Sandrine has an academic background in education and 20 years of professional experience. She held various positions in teaching, project management and consultancy in Middle-East, Central Asia, Asia and Africa. She joined Humanity & Inclusion (HI) as an Inclusive Education Policy Officer. Her role is to support technical programs in the Saharawi camps, Chad, Uganda, Kenya, Palestine and DRC. She advocates for the education of children with disabilities via international networks and develops HI’s expertise and partnerships.

Marine Sicre has 9 years of experience on Disaster Risk Management (DRM) for INGOs in America/Caribbean and Oceania. Marine worked as an independent consultant and managing Disaster preparedness and Emergency Response Projects. She is currently working for HI on an inclusive DRM project in Madagascar.
