Education Out Loud (EOL) has launched its second call targeting transnational civil society alliances. The fund aims to support inclusive alliances that enable the elevation of local and national voices into transnational education policy arenas and the coordination of citizen action across local, national and transnational levels.

The grant is part of EOL third funding stream, Operational Component 3, with individual grants ranging from between US$450,000 to US$1.2 million. Project duration is up to 36 months and targets alliances consisting of a minimum of 3 civil society organisations.

Proposals can be submitted until September 10, 2020 (23:59 CET).

EOL supports civil society to be active and influential in shaping education policy to better meet the needs of communities, especially of vulnerable and marginalised populations. Managed by Oxfam IBIS, with an allocation of US$55.5 million from GPE, it is the biggest education advocacy fund in the world available for civil society.
