The Global Campaign for Education (GCE) Youth Network, in collaboration with the Kuyenda Collective (a grantee of the ‘Education Out Loud OC3’ programme, active in Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zimbabwe), organised a global youth exchange webinar on 26 May 2026 titled “Transforming educational outcomes through system strengthening and accountability monitoring”.
The webinar explored how accountability can strengthen education systems and promote education that is more equitable, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of all. The young participants examined how the challenges facing education, such as underfunding, exclusion, gender inequalities, and the digital divide, stem from broader systemic weaknesses and accountability gaps. The webinar highlighted practical strategies for youth-led monitoring, evidence-building, advocacy, and political engagement.
