Position: Youth Engagement Officer-Consultant (Cape Town)
Xena Scullard
Xena joined GCE in March 2021 as the Youth Engagement Officer. Xena's role is to support GCE with strategic direction and coordination, with particular focus on growing and strengthening the voice and representation of youth and students across the movement.
Xena has almost a decade worth of experience working as a youth activist and organiser within the African region. Xena believes that feminist movement building and centering the leadership of youth and marginalised groups, are critical in driving the disruption of exclusionary systems.
Xena is excited to be part of leading the Youth & Student Engagement work of GCE.
