What happened in Action Week 2008? About 450 schools participated in the World’s Biggest Lesson. The Coalition invited public figures, politicians and representatives from the local educational sector to return to school to be part of the World’s Biggest Lesson.
Fifty one Community Organizations, academic entities and civil society associations in nine states of Mexico participated in Global Action Week. The week was filled with a mixture of cultural, sporting and other activities.
What happened in Action Week 2007?
An amazing 21,000 people took part in the ‘JOIN UP’ activities of the week.
These varied from a compilation of research on the status of education in Mexico and a spectacular ‘Parade of Professors’, at which children under 5 demanded the Right to Education, in order to become who they want.
All activities gained a lot of attention in the media, including being aired on state radio.
