Member Organisations The teachers’ union, the Syndicat des Enseignants de l’Education Nationale (SENA) is the coordinating organisation of the Gabonese National Coalition in the Campaign for Education (CONSEG) which is also composed of the Fédération Syndicale des Enseignants de l’Education Nationale (FESEENA) and the parents’ association FENAPEG
What happened in Action Week 2008? Over 3,000 students, 300 parents, 200 teachers and several officials took part in the World’s Biggest Lesson. The activities were conducted by the Syndicat des Enseignants de l’Education Nationale (SENA) which is the coordinating organisation of the Gabonese National Coalition in the Campaign for Education (CONSEG) in partnership with the Fédération Syndicale des Enseignants de l’Education Nationale (FESEENA) and the parents’ association FENAPEG.
Other activities included a television programme followed by an event at the Nzeng-Ayong Lac School in Libreville where teachers, union members and politicians spoke out for quality education. Students opened the meeting and showed their support for quality education through poems and drawings.
