where we operate map

Our membership comprises over 120 national coalitions and international and regional organisations that advocate for quality public Education for All. GCE members are based in almost 100 countries around the world.

As a global body, we represent the campaigns and views of our members on an international platform; however, our model of campaigning has a heavy emphasis on national and local advocacy and mobilisation. Campaigns aim to achieve change across local and national education sectors, whether this is on local corruption issues impacting on the delivery of budgets into schools or national changes in policy to deliver the right of everyone to quality public education.

Our members are national coalitions of like-minded organisations, regional or international network organisations, or international organisations and representative bodies operating across several countries.

Becoming a GCE Member

We welcome several new members to the campaign every year and encourage new coalitions and networks to join our movement. Click here to read more
