At the end of July 2021, global leaders will come together to make 5-year pledges to support the Global Partnership for Education’s work to help transform education systems in up to 90 countries and territories.

As part of this Global Education Summit, the Girls’ Education Challenge will be convening a day of events, discussing and supporting the GPE case for investment in girls’ education. These virtual events will look at evidence and recommendations to ensure that all girls can go to school in a post-COVID world.

An Opening Session led by the Girl’s Education Challenge will launch the day. Our five keynote speakers include Sally Gear (FCDO), Jamie Oberlander (USAID Somalia), Antara Ganguli (UNGEI), Elaine Unterhalter (UCL), and Nora Fyles (Wellspring Philanthropic Fund).
