GCE Germany and the Federal Ministry for Economic Co-operation and Development host the Big Picture Exhibition in Berlin

As part of the recent board meeting of the Global Partnership for Education, GCE Germany and the German Development Ministry hosted an exhibition of Global Action Week 'Big Pictures' in Berlin 6-8 June 2012. The exhibition, also hosted at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, comprises images drawn by young children in over 50 countries around the world to express their support for quality early childhood care and education as part of the GCE campaign, ‘Rights from the Start’.

During the exhibition, GCE Germany presented a huge book with articles and messages from their 2011 campaign on 'Education for girls and women' to Development Minister Niebel, reminding him of his promise to make education a priority area of German development cooperation.
